Over 20,000 birds has been killed by bird influenza also know as bird flu outbreak a belly two weeks ago in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipality in the Western North Region of Ghana.
Municipal Agric director Mr. Augustine Amaning Kwarteng speaking to Kofi Gyabaah Prof of Adehyie FM and Angel TV Angel FM reporter explained that the outbreak has affected six different farms in two weeks within the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipality.
He further indicated that the latest outbreak killed about 8500 birds at a go and He took the opportunity to advise the farms to double their steps as soon as possible to report any unfamiliar reaction or signs of the birds to any near by agric office or any veterinary office for further checks investigation.
