Joojo Mills-Robertson known for his stellar performance in popular Ghanaian TV series Efiewura has revealed his ordeal on how his close friend set him up in the United States of America because he owed him money.
In Efiewura, Joojo was a prophet called Osofo Abrams who got entangled in a whole lot of mess and was always seen eating even when he has told the congregation he was fasting.
Narrating his story, Joojo said he did not have the required documents that will enable him work and save money into his personal account so his friend decided to help him.
Adding that it was this same friend that advised him not to keep money on him so he heeded to his advise and started saving money into his friend’s account only to realize later that his friend has spent about $1200 of his money.
Joojo said he later demanded for his money and it became back and forth with his friend till he one day told him to follow him to the bank for his money. Out of excitement he jumped into the car without thinking it could be a set up.
His friend jumped the red light and they got followed by the police. As the police were approaching them his friend asked him to put his hand on the dashboard and he obliged. The police got close and asked them why they jumped the red light and demanded for the driving license of his friend.
The Police after checking the license asked his friend if there was anything illegal in the car and to his surprise his friend pointed at him to the police and said he was illegal.
They however said even if he was illegal he was not the one driving the car neither was he the one that jumped the red light and gave his friend a citation and asked his friend not to do that again.
He said the police did not arrest him because they said it was not in their capacity since that was the job of immigration officers.
After they got home, he thanked his friend and told him he was leaving to his nephews place in Virginia and he never returned to his friend’s house again.
