The Black Stars’ 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign might be a nightmare, according to Ghana head coach Otto Addo.
He believes the Black Stars have a chance to win every game in Group H, despite the fact that they can lose to any team.
“We’re coming up against three good opponents and we might lose all three games or win all three,” Coach Otto Addo told FIFA in an interview.
The Ghana head coach continued, “It’s up to us and how we adapt to their playing style, how we stop them, how we work together as a team. We need to play smart football, capitalizing on our opponents’ shortcomings while also highlighting our own strengths.
As a reminder, five (5) African nations, including Ghana, will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars will participate in Group H in the group stages of the competition. Ghana, with two-time winner Uruguay and European powerhouse Portugal will compete, South Korea, also from Asia, is the other team in our group.
While the 2022 FIFA World Cup will open on Sunday, November 20, Ghana’s Black Stars will play their first match on November 24.
After facing South Korea on November 28, Ghana will wrap up the group stages with a match against Uruguay on December 1.
