The Headmistress of Boa-Amponsem Senior high school in Dunkwa-On-Offin, Mrs Hrace Anopong has expressed worry overy some leakages of some classrooms and the Girls Dormitory of the school.
The headmistress has however appealed to NGOS, individuals and benevolent groups to salvage the situation.
Mrs Grace Anopong lamented that there are serious visible cracks in the Girls and Boys dormitories.
She made this known when speaking during the 60th anniversary celebration of Boa-Amponsem SHS in dunkwa-on-offin on Saturday,September 24.
She expressed anxiety over inadequate student dormitories since one of the boys dormitories was raised down by fire in february 2020.
According to the her, the school has since converted some classrooms into dormitories since the construction of a new boys dormitory to replace the burnt facility is still at the foundation stage.
She also appealed for assistance to help resource the science laboratory and Computers to stock the Computer Lab.
The headmistress also noted that the school lacks a befitting dinning hall since students are fed in the school’s assembly hall which was already constructed to accommodate about 150 student capacity in 1961.
The school according to the headmistress has a total student population of 2,287.
